(This post was last updated on: 10/5/2024). On a nice spring afternoon, we headed over to The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery to meet up with friends. This brewery has an extra large biergarten full of picnic tables and space to enjoy a brew with your crew.

It seems more like a park than a bar. You can also grab a table inside their brauhaus or sit on the covered patio. It’s definitely not hard to find a spot to sit down. Outside they had a local band playing and visitors playing cornhole. The brewery offers free tours on the weekend if you are interested in seeing how the magic happens.

The brewery has a small food menu. We tried the black eyed pea hummus since we are avid hummus lovers. We love the fact that this brewery attracts beer lovers of all ages and walks of life. If you are interested in visiting several breweries in one day, OMB is located within walking distance to several other bars, perfect for a beer crawl.

Prost!
