I hope you have been enjoying this new blog series “Latest Finds” where I dish about a few cool things that I have just discovered, heard about or was referred to by a friend/ family member. I can’t wait to share this week’s finds with you so lets just dig right on in.

1. Yard Games at Aldi

Last week my local Aldi grocery store had some fun backyard games for sale and I picked up a couple. Think giant Connect 4 and Jenga. I will link to some similar ones below that you can score on Amazon. These will be so fun for the whole family this summer! I can’t wait for our friends to be able to come over so we can crush them on our next game night.

2. Workin’ Moms on Netflix

I love the show Workin’ Moms so I was excited when Netflix just released season 3. If you haven’t seen this show, go check it out. Definitely a good show to binge on alone or with the girls, it’s a total chick show.

3. DecorSteals.com

I just heard about this farmhouse inspired home decor website, so I haven’t tried it yet. But the basic idea is that you can log on everyday and they have a few home decor items on flash sale that you can scoop up for a great price, but quantity is limited. They post 3 new items everyday at 10:00 am. I scoped out the site and love the pieces they have available right now, so I am gonna give it a try. Wish me luck!

4. Phone Soap Shine

Last Christmas, I bought this phone cleaner & disinfectant and I really liked it. This particular one comes in a pack of 5 so I gave one out to several family members as part of their Christmas gift. The cleanser is in a small squirt bottle that fits easily into my purse or into a briefcase/ laptop bag. Then on the side of the bottle is a microfiber cloth that you use to wipe off the liquid. It’s the most handy disinfectant spray to clean my phone and I also use it to clean my laptop and iPad screens. I like how portable it is and the pack of five comes in a variety of colors. I’ll probably buy another pack this Christmas to pass out again.

5. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Anyone living in the South knows about Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, duh I know. But what I wanted to share is that this company has been dedicated over the past two months in donating over 18 million doughnuts to healthcare workers. That is amazing! Every Monday for the past two months, healthcare workers could drive up to Krispy Kreme and receive a free dozen doughnuts. And let me tell you, carloads of people would get in line all day long to drive off with several boxes of free doughnuts to take back to their office/ healthcare setting.

So I say the rest of us should show our support and actually go buy some doughnuts. I can’t imagine how much money that company lost over the past couple of months, so let’s go and support them in their efforts to do something amazing for our frontline workers. I actually have now three times ordered a few dozen doughnuts to be delivered to friends/ family at work. It’s so easy, they use Door Dash to deliver, so check it out and lend your support if you can.
